Technically it would be a nautilus or something, but "nautilus mug" was too long. Constructed around a tube from rolled clay, with the carved squid and shell applied and sealed on. The shell actually works as a handle, as long as you have smallish hands. This is actually the unfired state, but the glazes ran in the kiln, so it's whats going up.
